I have high hopes for this blog and I am pressured only because I allow myself to be. I want this blog to be similar to Hello Sandwich's but instead of having bits and pieces of Tokyo, I'll show how the Philippines is interesting without sounding like someone working for the tourism department. I think that'd be pretty cool except that I'm not ready for it yet so I'm gonna rant about the week that was.
Looking for Alaska Sunday
Search over. I finally found and bought the book I've been looking for for the longest time. I was kilig when I got a hold of it. It actually got me thinking about the possibility of me having OCD because I went back to the rack three times to make sure that the book I got was the prettiest. Never mind that I was already holding the same book the bookstore reserved for me.I ended up getting what I thought was the best.

Plain Jane Monday
I don't remember exactly how my Monday went but I think it involved the internet, reading Jellicoe Road, getting swooned by Jonah Griggs, work, and TV. Bad TV. When I read my planner (yes, this is how I take this blog seriously, I do backtracks! HAHA), I saw "Will the real plain Jane please stand up?" written on it. I now realize that I wrote it after I read an article about an actress referring to herself as a plain Jane. Jeez, you're an actress, you're not a plain Jane! You don't get to be plain Jane, leave it to the real plain Janes.
Ruining my Eyes Tuesday
My head and stomach were doing a 360 at the same time to punish me for reading while on a moving vehicle with a really bad driver. The second I got to the office, all I wanted was to hurl and take a nap but the real world did not allow me both. It didn't stop me from reading though because come lunch time, I went to the nearest place out of the office to read, thinking I would be able to finish the book. It turned out I was wrong.
I was thisclose to finishing the book but since I had work to do, I continued reading on a dim lit jeepney on my way home and finished it eventually.
Pooping Water Wednesday
If I were to write and finish a book in a day about how my day went, I'd entitle it Pooping Water. It might not be legit because it didn't happen until after lunch, but it was very inconvenient. After a few trips to you-know-where, I came to realize how easy it becomes if you don't fight it. Less pain in the stomach and less stress plus, I was totes confident it didn't smell. TMI!
Growing Up Thursday
Back then, when I had the slightest stomach itch pain, I would contact my superior immediately and call-in sick. That was easy and convenient (not for them though!). This time, no matter how I very much like the thought of just staying in bed and going to the bathroom once in a while and reading a good book, I can't. Because no matter how long a vacation I may take, work is still work and at the end of the day, I still need to do it. Yay! I'm growing up!
Photoshoot Friday
Yesterday was a really good day notwithstanding the rain and the flood in Makati. Funny how I claim this to be the best day of my week but can't find words to describe it other than being a "good" one. Okay, fulfilling would do too. Plus, Kell cried! (Kell on Earth reference)
Goodbye Multiply Saturday
Instead of getting ready for school, I wrote my farewell babble here. I'm also glad I now have 2 story ideas for my play which I'll be presenting this afternoon. :O
It was a good week all in all. Or, depends how my class turns out this afternoon. I hope this blog goes somewhere. Not just some random crap I litter the net with. Here's to babbling even if no one listens (or in this case, reads), Cheers!
