Creative Inspiration Is Creative

I can't believe I wasted an entire evening looking for a photo of a room in the attic, with gorgeous bookshelves, which I saw early last year. Gah! Obvs, I'm taking this blog way too seriously.

Did I ever mention that I love looking at pretty things? Things that won't be of any use but are pretty anyway? I'm a sucker for those kind of things. I even get swooned. I can look at beautiful paintings, crafts, prints, patterns, and photos all day long and not get tired of doing so. Also, yes, I'm a dork. But hey, creative inspiration is creative!

I recently found out about Hello Sandwich and "fanmailed" her without hesitation. I envy her materials and the city she lives in.

The good thing about these craft and design blogs is the fact that they let each others creativity bounce. One of Hello Sandwich's links belongs to Geninne from Mexico who does swoon-miss-flytulip artworks over at Geninne's Art Blog.

Also one of Hello Sandwich's highly recommended blogs (labeled Seriously Pretty Things) is Joanna Goddard's A Cup of Jo. I instantly fell in love with the kind of engagement ring some of her friends wear. It's very simple but still classy. I want to have one, even without the engagement yet. Just that pretty little thing.
